Identity Management in Canada has a different set of issues than those experienced in other countries. American identity issues are complicated by their obsessions with national security. British laws are decidedly different than ours. Identity & Access Management (IAM) implementations vary greatly from country to country.
ThisĀ Canadiam online community has been established to discuss a range of issues, cross-link to resources, promote solutions (within reason) and catch-up on what progress is being made across Canada.
This blog will explore a wide range of topics and in different ways: mini-essays, photos, quick-hits and even posts with a sense of humour (yes, IAM can be fun… really.)
The LinkedIn Canadiam group has been created for LinkedIn users to discuss and review posts, news and other articles of interest. And a Twitter hash tag, #canadiam, can be used by anyone that wants to tweet on IAM in Canada.
Feel free to look around, forward links, argue with us and generally explore what Canadian identity management has to offer.
